Ghaziabad, August 19 (HS). On the last Monday of Sawan, long queues of devotees were seen at the historic Peeth Dudheshwarnath Temple for offering water and worshipping Lord Shiva. There was a long queue in the temple premises since morning. Meanwhile, Indian cricket team player Suresh Raina reached Dudeshwarnath Temple with his family and performed Jalabhishek of Lord Bhole. During this, the temple premises resounded with chants of Har Har Mahadev. Not only this, the devotees kept on chanting Bam Bam Bhole, Jai Bholenath.

The Mahant of the temple Narayan Giri says that fasting on this day brings blessings of happiness and prosperity. He said that in Hinduism, the month of Sawan is considered more auspicious for worship. Due to Chaturmas during this period, the entire universe is governed by Lord Shiva. Therefore, in this month, Bholenath's blessings remain in all auspicious events.
