On the instructions of CM Yogi, disaster victims are getting immediate relief, financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakhs in 24 hours.

Lucknow, 27 September. Amidst the heavy rains and natural disaster in Uttar Pradesh, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, sensitivity and readiness has been shown to provide immediate relief to the affected families. District in-charge minister and Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi reached among the families affected by the strong storm and water in Ayodhya and Basti and consoled the affected families. On the instructions of CM Yogi, he handed over checks of financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each from the Divine Disaster Relief Fund to the affected families within 24 hours of the incident.

Four people died untimely due to heavy rains and storm in Ayodhya. These include 18-year-old Akash Verma, resident of Shivdaspur, Shukla Purva of Sohawal tehsil, 12-year-old Aryan, resident of Milkipur tehsil, 76-year-old Ramswaroop and 40-year-old Dharamraj, resident of Rudauli tehsil. All of them died due to falling trees. Minister in-charge Surya Pratap Shahi handed over checks of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of Akash Verma, Ram Swaroop and Dharamraj at Ayodhya Circuit House. In the same colony, two families affected by the disaster were given immediate financial assistance.

Victim families got relief in Basti also
Motiram, a resident of Chaubah village of Basti Sadar tehsil, died due to the roof falling in the storm, his wife Kailasha Devi was given an assistance of Rs 4 lakh. After the death of Prashant, resident of village Balua, Mahuli West, due to snakebite, a check of Rs 4 lakh was also handed over to his mother Meera Devi.

The government stands like a guardian in the happiness and sorrow of every citizen.
The Agriculture Minister said that the state government is fully committed to the safety, service and assistance of every citizen. Chief Minister Yogi has clear instructions that in the event of a divine or natural disaster, immediate relief, medical facilities and financial support should be provided to the affected families. He directed the district administration to immediately provide all possible assistance to all the affected people.
