On the call of national, state and regional leadership, Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha Chitrakoot took out a torchlight procession in large numbers under the leadership of Yuva Morcha District President Hero Mishra at the district headquarters on the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. After this, tribute was paid to the martyrs of the country who were martyred in the Kargil war at Shaheed Park.
On Thursday, the torch procession organized on the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas started from Shahid Park and passed through the main Dhanush square of the city and concluded at Shahid Park. Slogans like Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram, Hindustan will remember the sacrifice of brave martyrs kept resonating in the torch procession. Former minister Chandrika Prasad Upadhyay, former MP Bhairo Prasad Mishra, former district presidents Dinesh Tiwari, Chandra Prakash Khare, District General Secretary Alok Pandey, Ashwini Awasthi, District President of Mahila Morcha Divya Tripathi, General Secretary Vinita Dwivedi, senior leader Rajeshwari Dwivedi, District Media Incharge Bhagwat Tripathi, Abhishek Ojha of Yuva Morcha, Ujjwal Gupta etc. remembered the martyrs and paid tribute to them at the Shahid Stambh after the torch procession.
Addressing the workers after offering flowers at the Martyr's Column, District President Hero Mishra said that this torch procession will remind everyone of the sacrifices of the Indian soldiers. Youth power should take inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyred heroes and make a determined contribution to the work of nation-building. Former Minister Chandrika Prasad Upadhyay said that we all should pay homage to the sacrifices of the heroes every moment. Former MP Bhairo Prasad Mishra said that only youth power can speed up the work of national reconstruction. District President of Mahila Morcha Divya Tripathi said that the double engine government of BJP is making determined efforts to honor the soldiers. Former District President Chandra Prakash Khare and Dinesh Tiwari said that on the anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, salutations to the martyrs.
District General Secretary Alok Pandey said that Kargil Vijay War Campaign is a symbol of the valor of Indian Army. In the Kargil War, Indian Army fought and won the war in adverse conditions. Every Indian will always remember the sacrifice of the martyrs in the Kargil War.
