On-screen couple broke up in real life! Abhishek-Karishma separated forever after this film

In the year 2002, a film was released in which three big stars of that era were seen together – Abhishek Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. The name of the film was ‘Yes, Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya Hai’. Despite a big star cast and spectacular locations, the film failed at the box office and was declared a flop.

But there is a strange thing associated with this film. No one remembers the film, but its songs are still on people’s lips. Especially one of its songs ‘Mubarak Ho Tumko Yeh Shaadi Tumhari’ still adds to the charm of every wedding and is definitely found playing on the DJ.

What was the story of the film?

This film was a romantic drama of director Dharmesh Darshan. The story was about Pooja (Karisma Kapoor) and Shiv (Abhishek Bachchan), whose marriage breaks due to a small misunderstanding. After this, Raj (Akshay Kumar) enters Pooja’s life, who loves her very much. But the twist in the story comes when Pooja and Raj are about to get married and Shiv returns after realizing his mistake.

The story behind it is more famous than the film

More than the failure of this film, there is another story behind it which is discussed more, and that was the story of the relationship between Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor.

It is believed that this was the film on the sets of which their love story had a tragic end. According to reports, when the shooting of the film started, Abhishek and Karisma were dating each other and there were talks of marriage in the Bachchan and Kapoor families due to their relationship. But by the time the film ended, I don’t know what happened that their relationship also ended forever.

This proved to be Karisma and Abhishek’s first and last film together. Just a year after the release of this film, Karisma Kapoor married businessman Sanjay Kapoor.

Today ‘Haan, Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya Hai’ is known as a big flop, but its superhit songs and an incomplete love story associated with it always keep it alive in people’s memories.
