Jabalpur, June 27 (HS). Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh on Thursday walked through the waterlogged areas of Chandannagar Colony of Garha Ward in the pouring rain. He called the Municipal Corporation officials on the spot and instructed them to provide immediate relief to the local citizens from the waterlogging situation and find a permanent solution to the problem. He also discussed with the local residents and assured them of solving their problem permanently.
Public Works Minister Singh was going to attend a meeting organised at the Pachmatha Mandir premises in Indira Gandhi Ward after attending a meeting of local citizens and party workers at the community hall located at Ramlila Maidan in Gadha Ward on Thursday. Then he got information about waterlogging in Chandan Nagar Colony. As soon as he got the information, he immediately reached there and walked through the area in knee-deep water. He directed the administration to make proper arrangements.
