Varanasi, 17 April (HS). After the struggle of saints, saints, Hindutva organizations and Hindus for almost 500 years, a grand Ramlala temple was built at the birthplace in Ayodhya, there was tremendous enthusiasm among the people on Ramnavmi on Wednesday. On the occasion of Mahaparva, citizens along with Hindu organizations took out a grand procession from various places in the entire district. In the procession, the tableaux related to the life of Lord Ram, especially the tableau depicting Ram Lalla seated in Ayodhya, were the center of attraction among the people. Hindu Ekta procession was taken out from Maidagin intersection on behalf of Hindu Jan Jagruti Samiti. Officials of Hindu organizations, advocates, trade union representatives and Shri Ram devotees participated in the procession.
The procession started with worship of the religious flag and blowing of conch shell. All the participants in the yatra were continuously chanting 'Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram'. During the yatra, the atmosphere echoed with the slogans of 'Same slogan, same name, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram', 'Pavansut Hanuman ki Jai'. When the Yatra reached Gate No. 4 of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the atmosphere there became devotional with the praise of Shiva written by Shri Ram. It ended at Chittaranjan Park via Bansphatak, Dashashwamedh intersection.
Vishwanath Kulkarni, coordinator of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said that the establishment of Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya is a sign of the incarnation of Shri Ram Rajya. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Navami, we all have united and taken a pledge to realize the goal of Ramrajya. On the other hand, Shri Ramkatha Mandakini procession started from Assighat. Mahant of Shri Sankat Mochan Temple Prof. Vishwambhar Nath Mishra started the procession by performing the aarti. The procession was taken out on a barge in the Ganga from Assi to Bhaisasur Ghat. The procession was welcomed at various ghats. In the procession, 11 tableaux based on the life of Lord Ram attracted the people.
