On Indian New Year, Arghya was offered to Lord Surya with the water of Mother Saryu

Ayodhya, 09 April (Hindus). The Indian New Year (Nav Samvatsar) 2081 was welcomed by people under the auspices of Chetna Samiti by offering Arghya in the holy waters of Maa Saryu with the first ray of sunrise. On the eve of Indian New Year, the new year has been inaugurated by lighting 5000 lamps at Surya Kund Darshan Nagar. The Deepotsav was presided over by Dr. Janmejay Tiwari and conducted by Avneesh and the chief guest was state campaigner Kaushal Kishore, General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Committee Champat Rai, Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta. Everyone wished a happy Indian New Year.

After offering Arghya to Lord Surya, the patron of the committee, Mahant of Teen Kalasa Tiwari Temple, Mayor of Ayodhya Municipal Corporation Girishpati Tripathi wished everyone a Happy New Year. He said that before the Indian New Year, nature starts preparations to welcome it. Other New Years are celebrated in autumn but the Indian New Year begins when new buds appear and the atmosphere all around is fragrant with flowers. In the present times, youth are connecting with Sanatan culture and Indian civilization, for this I express my gratitude to the youth. I also express my gratitude to the hundreds of people who came early in the morning on the call of Chetna Samiti on the eve of New Year. Everyone started the New Year by offering prayers to Lord Sun.

On this occasion, Bhushan Singh, Councilor Brijendra Singh, Vinay Jaiswal, Santosh Singh, Manish Singh, Ravi Tiwari, Deepak Shukla Sunil Awasthi, Ramesh Gupta Rana Srinivas Shastri, Brijmohan Tiwari, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Parmendra Singh, Rahul Singh, Rohit Sharma Abhay Yadav, Hundreds of mothers and sisters including Nirankar Pathak were also present.
