On being elected as the leader of the parliamentary party, PM Modi said- 'We will write a new chapter of development in the next 10 years'

In the NDA meeting, Narendra Modi was elected the leader of the parliamentary party for the third time. This proposal was approved in the meeting of the newly elected MPs of the BJP-led NDA in the Central Hall of Parliament. After this meeting, the NDA will stake claim to form the government. Parliamentary party leader Narendra Modi addressed the meeting and thanked the supporting parties.

Modi said that it is a matter of happiness for me that today I have got the opportunity to welcome such a large group of people who have returned victorious and deserve congratulations. Lakhs of workers have worked day and night. I bow my head and salute the hard work done by the workers of every party in this heat from the Central Hall of the Constituent Assembly today. Modi said that in the next 10 years in the NDA government, we will try to reduce government interference in development and common human life as much as possible. This is the power of democracy, today in the age of technology we want change. We will write a new chapter of development and together we will realize the dream of a developed India.

He said that in the last 10 years we have taken the country to new heights. One thing is common in the entire NDA leadership – good governance. I am saying with a lot of responsibility that in the next 10 years, good governance, development, quality of life in the lives of citizens… is a dream of mine personally. The less the government's interference in the lives of common people, the stronger the democracy will be. He said that the welfare of the poor has been the focus of all of us.

Modi said, “See the power of India's great democracy that people have given the NDA a chance to serve by forming a government in 22 states of the country. This alliance of ours is truly the soul of India.” One thing I always emphasize in life is trust. You chose me as your leader in 2019 and today in 2024, standing as your chosen leader, I feel how strong the 'bridge of trust' is between us.
