In view of the seriousness of the case, the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India has directed the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) to investigate. The Ministry of Heavy Industries has also ordered an inquiry into the complaints of customers received against Ola. Sources said that the Ministry has directed ARAI to submit the investigation report within 15 days.

Ola electric is taking advantage of government schemes

In February, a total of 8,652 registrations were made on the vehicle portal of Ola Electric. Whereas the company recorded sales of more than 25,000 vehicles in February. ARAI will also investigate the company’s sales data and irregularities in customer complaints. We have asked the agency to report within 15 days.” Ola Electric refused to comment when the government was contacted to comment on this move. Ola electric is facing several regulatory pressures.
