According to the police, Harish Bagesh from Patna and Sanchita Srivastava from Gorakhpur studied in the same school in Varanasi, where they fell in love in Class 11 and later got married. The couple then moved to Mumbai where Harish started working in a private bank after completing his MBA. A few days later, when Sanchita's health deteriorated, her father and Gorakhpur's famous doctor Ramcharan Das took her back to their city. Sanchita was undergoing treatment in Gorakhpur. Harish also left his bank job and came to Gorakhpur to take care of his wife. He was staying at his in-laws' house and taking care of his wife for the last several months.
According to the report, Harish searched for a job at many places but was disappointed. Harish was sad due to not getting a job. It is being told that two days ago Harish left his father-in-law's house saying that he was going to Patna but instead of going there he kept going to Varanasi. When he was not picking up the phone of his family members, his family members went searching for him and reached Sarnath area of Varanasi, where Harish was found strangled in a room of a homestay.
The news reached his father-in-law in Gorakhpur that Dr. Ramcharan Das and his father-in-law had left for Varanasi. However, in the midst of all this, when the daughter came to know about her husband's death, she could not bear it and jumped from the roof. Where she died. The police identified Harish's body in Sarnath from the Aadhar card found with him. His father's name is Ramaswamy Malviya. The police have taken Harish's body into custody and sent it for postmortem. No suicide note was found at the scene.
Initial investigation has revealed that Harish used to be depressed while going to work and was also addicted to drugs. At present, the police is investigating the case.
