Officials should resolve public problems promptly: Agriculture Minister | News India

Agriculture Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar Chaudhary said that timely resolution of the problems of the common man should be ensured so that people do not have to visit offices again and again. While chairing the meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee in the auditorium of the School Education Board on Friday, Agriculture Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar Chaudhary said that the people should get the benefits of the welfare schemes of the state government, development work should be accelerated and public grievances should be resolved quickly. For this, the District Public Grievance Redressal Committee has an important role.

He said that the first meeting of the Public Grievance Redressal Committee has been organised in the district to ensure quick resolution of people's problems.

Preparations underway to create a portal to get rid of stray animals

Agriculture Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar Chaudhary said that farmers are facing a lot of losses due to stray animals. Keeping this in mind, the state government is now considering preparing a portal to monitor the livestock of farmers so that no farmer can leave his animals unclaimed, monitoring of this will also be ensured through the portal.

He said that it is proposed to provide incentives to farmers for animal husbandry. He said that for the safety of farms, arrangements have been made for fencing etc. on subsidy through the government.

Instructions were also given to take serious steps for drug prevention. When the issue of increasing drug abuse in rural areas was raised by non-government members, the Agriculture Minister instructed the police administration to take strict action against drug abuse in rural areas on a regular basis and said that the sub-divisional administration should also conduct checking campaigns on a regular basis so that the young generation can be kept away from drug abuse.

Non-official members raised issues of roads, drinking water and electricity

In the meeting, the non-official members of the committee raised issues related to improvement of connecting roads, filling up of vacant posts of teachers in schools, running new buses, resolving problems arising out of four-lane construction, electricity, health, drinking water, sewerage. Apart from this, a complaint was also made about not running buses on the scheduled routes on holidays, on which the Agriculture Minister strictly instructed the officials to resolve all the issues raised by the non-official members with sensitivity and in a timely manner.
