Officers took oath of integrity on Constitution Day, another step on the path of serving the country

On the occasion of Constitution Day in Chamoli district, officers and employees of all government institutions took the oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari administered the oath of allegiance to the Constitution to the officers and employees in a program organized in the Collectorate premises. On this occasion, the District Magistrate congratulated the Constitution Day and said that along with the fundamental rights provided by the Constitution, we should also follow our fundamental duties. He also said that it is our collective responsibility to protect the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country. It is our responsibility to maintain peace, harmony and social harmony by having respect and allegiance to the Constitution.

On this occasion, officers and employees took oath to follow the Preamble of the Constitution and discharge their duties with full devotion and honesty. Apart from this, oath was also taken at Tehsil and Block headquarters to assimilate and follow the Constitution. It is known that every year 26 November is celebrated as National Constitution Day, because on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India. The Constitution was adopted, which was implemented from 26 January 1950. During this, Additional District Magistrate Vivek Prakash, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Puneet Kumar and officers and employees of other departments were also present.
