Ranchi, September 26 (HS). Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said that the officials should ensure that the preparations for the assembly elections in the state are given a concrete shape. He said that keeping in mind the complaints received through various mediums in the last Lok Sabha elections, preparations for the upcoming assembly elections should be ensured. Ensure strong security arrangements in the upcoming assembly elections.

Kumar was conducting a review meeting with the District Election Officers and Superintendents of Police of all the districts through online medium from the Election House on Thursday on various subjects related to the Lok Sabha election matters and preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. The Chief Electoral Officer said that a certificate must be taken from all BLOs and BLO supervisors that not a single wrong deletion has been made in the voter list in their area. He said that preparations should be made to strengthen all security standards with zero risk in the election. Ensure webcasting at all check posts. He said that all the enforcement agencies in the election will strongly ensure that there is no illegal transaction or movement in the state and strictly ban it.

On this occasion, the Chief Electoral Officer reviewed point-wise the issues like ASD list, wrong deletion in voter list, security management, movement of illegal materials etc. and gave necessary instructions.
