On Monday, Gopalganj police arrested the District Evaluation and Monitoring Officer red-handed while having a liquor party in the government office.
The arrested officer has been locked up in the lockup of the city police station. After this incident, there was a stir in the Sadar Hospital premises. The name of the arrested District Assessment and Monitoring Officer is Anurag Jeetan. The police took this action from the office located in Sadar Hospital. SP Swarn Prabhat said that the Dial 112 team had received secret information that District Assessment and Monitoring Officer Anurag Jeetan in the District Health Committee is drunk. He is having a liquor party in his government office. On the basis of this information, the Dial 112 team arrested the evaluation officer and when his medical examination was done, it was confirmed that he had consumed alcohol. He has been kept in the city police station lockup. From there, he was produced in the court.
