Ranchi, May 14 (HS). Voting for Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency is to be held on May 25. A review meeting was held in the Collectorate on Tuesday under the chairmanship of General Observer DS Ramesh, Police Observer Dr. Jalinder D Supekar and Expenditure Observer Virendra Kumar Singh regarding the preparations related to voting.
In the meeting, Returning Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha gave detailed information regarding the preparations being made for voting through PPT. Informed the observers about the works being executed through personnel, vehicles, MCC C-Vigil, MCMC, material and other cells. Observers also took information about the preparations and arrangements related to voting through postal ballot.
Regarding the dispatch of polling parties, the District Election Officer said that the cell is functional in Morhabadi ground, where the arrangement of vehicles with route tagging is being ensured for the Sector Magistrate and polling parties. During the meeting, security standards at all the booths under Ranchi parliamentary constituency were also discussed. All the observers expressed satisfaction after getting information about the preparations for voting in the parliamentary constituency. Also gave many guidelines.
The returning officer expressed hope that all the officers of the district will ensure that all the guidelines given by the observers are followed and the voting will be conducted in a clean and peaceful manner in Ranchi parliamentary constituency.
In the meeting, SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha, Superintendent of Police, City Rajkumar Mehta, Rural SP and Assistant Returning Officers of all the concerned assembly constituencies and nodal officers and in-charge officers of various cells formed at the district level for the successful conduct of Lok Sabha elections were present.
