Lakhimpur Kheri, 21 August (HS). DM Durga Shakti Nagpal has scheduled the swearing-in ceremony of 05 Pradhans and 52 Gram Panchayat members and eight BDCs elected unopposed in the by-election on August 24. All preparations for this have been completed.
DPRO Vishal Singh said that the newly elected 05 Gram Pradhans and 52 members of Gram Panchayat will be administered the oath and affirmation at 11 am in the respective area Panchayat office. The newly elected eight area Panchayat members of Block Lakhimpur, Mohammadi, Pasgawan Mitauli and Nighasan will be administered the oath at the respective area Panchayat office at 12 noon on the same day. The Pradhan will be administered the oath by the BDO, the BDC will be administered the oath by the Chief Area Panchayat and the member Gram Panchayat will be administered the oath by the Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat).
He informed that in the by-election, Najma wife of Irfan in Kadipur of Block Lakhimpur, Rajesh Kumar son of Shiv Ratan Lal in Gram Panchayat Paharpur of Bokegaj, Vineeta Yadav wife of Deepak Kumar Yadav in Dohak of Pasgawa, Aashiq Ali son of Chottan in Gulriya Pathar Shah of Nighasan, Maya Devi wife of Ratti Ram in Naurangabad Gram Panchayat of Nighasan were elected. Apart from this, eight area Panchayat members were elected from various wards of different Gram Panchayats of Block Lakhimpur, Mohammadi, Pasgawan Mitauli and Nighasan development area.
