Narhat, 22 March (His). The message of eradicating malnutrition was given by organizing a nutrition fair in Chandelbagh of Narhat Child Development Project. The fair was organized under the supervision of Narhat Child Development Project Officer Jyoti Sinha. Under the supervision of women supervisors Madhavi Kumari and Poonam Kumari of the block. All Gram Panchayat services took a pledge to create a malnutrition-free society by organizing Poshan Mile.
While inaugurating the nutrition fair by lighting the lamp, Child Development Project Officer of Narhat, Jyoti Sinha said that the nutrition fair will prove to be a stepping stone in eliminating malnutrition from the society. Congratulating the supervisors and servants of the project for this work, he said that by becoming active in this manner, they should eradicate malnutrition in the form of leprosy from the society. He said that elimination of malnutrition is possible only through awareness, for which efforts are needed.
Addressing the servants, Child Development Project Officer Jyoti Sinha said that each one of our servants and supervisors is working diligently to eradicate malnutrition. Publicity is also being done among the villagers, due to which the rate of malnutrition has definitely reduced. There will come a time when malnutrition will be controlled.
By taking part in the nutrition fair, the maids working in various Gram Panchayats of the block took a pledge to get information about the ways to avoid malnutrition and give it to the common citizens. Assistants Arvind Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Aryan Kumar etc. also contributed better in making the program successful.
