Many students are facing difficulties in filling the JEE Main 2025 application form. Because the names are not written the same in their 10th certificate/marksheet and Aadhar card. Due to different spelling of names in both the documents, JEE form is not being completed. When some students informed the National Testing Agency (NTA) about this problem and sent a request to correct it, NTA made some changes. In view of this, the agency has made minor amendments in the online application form of JEE Main and has also informed the students about the same.
Now how to fill JEE Main form?
Actually, students whose names are not matching in both the documents, when they select Confirm Name As Per Aadhaar, they get the message that there is a mismatch in the name in Aadhaar verification. Now NTA has given an option in the form that on receiving this message, candidates can close it and a new window will open. In the new window, the student will have to write the name with the spelling printed in the Aadhar card.
In this process, the name written in the educational certificate along with the Aadhar card will also be captured. Then students can fill their JEE Main form completely. The earlier problems will not arise. The last date to fill JEE form through NTA and JEE Main official website www.nta.ac.in and https://jeemain.nta.ac.in is 22 November 2024. According to the schedule released by NTA, this time JEE Main exam session-1 will be conducted from January 22 to January 31, 2025.
