NSUI organized Student Panchayat 2024

Dehradun, 15 April (HS). The National Students Union of India (NSUI) organized Chhatra Panchayat 2024 in Jogiwala on Monday. National President of NSUI Varun Chaudhary and former Chief Minister Harish Rawat mainly participated in it. On this occasion, the National President said that Congress will work on the interests of the youth on priority.

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that work was done for the welfare of students during the Congress rule. He said that the Congress government has worked for youth empowerment by giving priority to vacant job posts and will do so in future also if it comes to power. He also expressed his determination to seek justice for the Ankita Bhandari murder case and promised a thorough investigation if voted to power.

NSUI National President Varun Choudhary stressed NSUI's commitment to scrap the Agneepath scheme. Instead he proposed to offer guaranteed army jobs to 1.5 lakh candidates, giving priority to the service of the youth to the nation. He said, “We will ensure that Ankita Bhandari gets justice.”

Senior Congress leaders, NSUI national office-bearers, state president Vikas Negi and hundreds of students participated in the program.
