Jaunpur, 03 July (HS) A meeting of the District Horticulture Development Committee was held on Tuesday in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium under the chairmanship of CDO Sai Teja Seelam for the management and maintenance of Lohia Environmental Park, Jaunpur. District Horticulture Officer Seema Singh said that it was decided to charge tickets for women along with men in Lohia Park. Also, it was agreed to keep the entry of children below 10 years free.
CDO said that entry of children below 10 years of age will be free during morning and evening visits to Lohia Paryavaran Udyan Park. Apart from this, it was decided to keep the entry fee for men and women at Rs 5 per day, Rs 100 for one month, Rs 500 for six months and Rs 1000 annually.
It will be mandatory to deposit five thousand rupees for shooting a film/album in Lohia Environmental Park. Apart from parking outside Lohia Park, it was decided to build three food courts, two entertainment zones (inside and outside). The work will be done by the institution that gets the maximum amount by inviting tenders through open bidding.
It was decided to install new equipment in the open gym. It was decided to install a music system in Lohia Park so that those who go for walking, doing yoga and exercising can enjoy the melodious sound. The organization which will install it will also have to do the maintenance for three years. For the sake of security in Lohia Park, it was decided to increase police patrolling and also include women police in the patrolling. Instructions were given to the Nagar Palika to provide a garbage vehicle for disposal of the garbage in the park. It was decided that the money for the arrangement of flags in the park would be made from the committee fund.
