The number of Indian tourists visiting Saudi Arabia is expected to increase. The capital Riyadh aims to attract 7.5 million Indian tourists by 2030. On the occasion of Saudi Foundation Day, a top official said that there has been a 50 percent jump in the number of Indian tourists last year. Referring to the 96-hour free visa scheme for Indian tourists visiting Saudi Arabia, Alhassan Aldabagh said that under the stop over programme, Saudi visitors will be given free visa for 96 hours. You will get this benefit if you travel by Saudi Airlines or private airline Flynas. Last year, 15 lakh tourists from India came to Saudi. The ambitious target of 7.5 million passengers from India to Saudi Arabia by 2030 has been set for a significant increase of 50 per cent.

It has been decided to issue five-year multiple entry visas to encourage tourism and trade relations. This visa will be approved within two to five working days. On the basis of this visa, the tourist can stay in Dubai for 90 days and the maximum period of travel can be extended up to 180 days.
