Now will the world's third largest economy also leave the European Union? Preparing for Dexit after Brexit

Germany News: The right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has raised the issue of Germany's exit from the European Union. The AfD has suggested that if Germany wants to be strengthened, it should leave the European Union like Britain. The UK government has announced that it will hold a referendum on whether to remain in the European Union if it comes to power in 2025. The announcement that the ADF is in second place in popularity in opinion polls for the 2025 elections has been taken seriously.

Just as Britain separated from the European Union, the question whether Germany will also separate from the European Union is currently a topic of discussion across Europe. In Germany, elections are to be held in September 2025 to elect the federal i.e. central government. For this election, the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has raised the issue of Germany's exit from the European Union.

The AfD has suggested that if Germany wants to be strengthened, it should leave the European Union like Britain. The AfD has suggested holding a referendum in Germany similar to the one held by the British government on whether to remain or leave the European Union. He has also announced that if he comes to power in 2025, he will hold a referendum on whether to remain in the EU or not.

The AfD's announcement has caused a stir as the ADF is ranked second in popularity in opinion polls for the 2025 elections. Given that the largest opposition is the Union Party, it is certain that the present government will lose. Germany currently has a Front government led by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Olaf Scholz as Chancellor. The Green Party and the Free Democratic Party (FDP) are partners in this front. The front has 416 seats out of 735 seats in the Bundestag, the lower house of the German parliament, while the opposition, which also includes the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Christian Social Union (CSU), has 319 seats. Union parties have 197 seats.

With 78 seats, the AfD is currently in fifth place, but its chances of coming to power in the next election are strong, as the margin between the union parties and the ADF in the polls is very small. Given that the elections are still a year and a half away, the ADF may be forced to come to power. If the ADF comes to power, it would mean that its issue of leaving the EU has appealed to Germans. Even in the referendum to leave the EU people support the FD so that Germany can secede.

The current government of Germany is in favor of remaining in the European Union. According to the claim of German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, if Germany separates from the European Union, its economy will be devastated because the single market created by the European Union is most important for Germany. Being a member of the European Union, German goods do not attract any duty in EU countries, so these goods are cheaper for all countries and Germany's manufacturing-based economy is booming.

Industrialists and businessmen are in favor of Lindner. Most politicians also agree with this. He argues that Germany has made a major contribution in strengthening the European Union. This is not to be expected, as the Single Market system has been established after years of hard work, it is difficult to set everything up from scratch after leaving the EU.

According to Lindner, leaving the EU would destroy the German economy because German products would become more expensive and other countries would benefit. Germany cannot afford to leave the EU's huge market while its economy depends on exports.

The AfD rejects this argument as nonsense. According to him, Germany is on top in the world in car and machinery production. Germany is the world leader in customized machinery, hence the earnings of its service sector are also high. No country in the world can run without German cars and machinery.

BMW, Mercedes-Benz. Luxury cars including Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche are German. These companies have established their dominance by competing with America and Japan. Similarly, companies like Allianz, Adidas, Siemens also have influence and no one can reduce it. Even if European Union countries impose duty, the goods of these companies will have to be sold. Secondly, if other countries of Europe impose duty on German goods, then Germany can also put pressure on their nose by imposing duty on their goods.

On the other hand, Germany will benefit from exiting the European Union in that its financial sector will be strengthened. At present, Germany's financial sector includes companies from other European countries. Because of them, Germans are investing in other countries and Germany's money is going to other countries.

According to ADF, other countries of the European Union are benefiting because of Germany. The total GDP of the European Union is $18 trillion while Germany's GDP is $4.50 trillion. Meaning, Germany accounts for 25 percent of the EU's GDP. At the same time, in the population of 45 crores of the European Union, Germans are less than 20 percent i.e. about 8.5 crores. The per capita income in the European Union is 40 thousand dollars. In contrast, the per capita income in Germany is 53 thousand dollars. Under these circumstances, if Germany pulls out, the EU will suffer losses.

Germany is the only country among the Group of Seven (G-7) richest countries in the world whose economic growth rate has declined. The two top banks, Deutsche Bank and Commerz Bank, have forecast that Germany's economic growth rate will be only 0.4 percent in 2024. ADF holds the European Union responsible for this. Lindner has shown a willingness to take steps to strengthen financial markets, but the AfD prefers a one-two punch at exiting the EU rather than a major deal.

According to German political analysts, it has to be acknowledged that the feeling of separation from the European Union is growing stronger in Germany. The reason for this is the immigrants coming from outside European countries. Alternative for Germany (AfD) had put forward a proposal three years ago demanding the separation of Germany from the European Union, but at that time people did not like the idea much.

After the formation of ADF in 2013, when ADF contested elections for the first time in 2017, it got 94 seats. Elections for the Bundestag, the lower house of the German parliament, took place in September 2021. Five months before that, Afda had decided to contest the elections on three issues: anti-EU, anti-lockdown and anti-immigration, but these issues were not successful. Its seats reduced to 83.

The sudden increase in the ADF's base is due to the influx of immigrants, who are mostly Muslims. Many countries including France welcome these migrants in the name of humanity. Then these migrants spread to all European countries including Germany. ADF says that because of these people Germany is in danger and Germany's identity will be destroyed. ADF is becoming popular because people are getting it. The ADF will come to power and separate Germany from the EU.

Brexit made sense for Britain but why Dexit for Germany?

The term Brexit was used to describe Britain's separation from the European Union, just as the term Dexit was used to describe Germany's separation from the European Union. In the case of Britain, it is understandable that the two words Britain and Exit came together to form the word Brexit, but in the case of Germany, many people do not understand why the word Dexit is used. The answer is that Germany is called Deutschland in German language. In English the word for our country is India but in Hindi the word Bharat is because English and German are two different words, so the original German word has been digitized by taking D.

ADF President Alice Lesbian, in a relationship with a Sri Lankan producer

The presidents of ADF are Tino Kripalla and Alice Weidel. Alice Weedle is a lesbian. Alice, who is in a lesbian relationship, lives with her partner Sarah Bossard. Sara is a filmmaker of Sri Lankan origin and lives in Switzerland. Alice and Sarah have adopted two children.

The ideology of ADF is aggressive. The ADF, whose goal is to make Germany the most powerful nation in the world again, is accused of not believing in democracy, but Ellis is considered a liberal, so Ellis is the most popular in the ADF.
