Now there will be no delay in road construction! CM’s ‘action mode’ created a stir, set a deadline of 2 months for projects. No more sluggishness in road construction! CM’s ‘action mode’ sparks a stir; 2-month deadline set for projects.

The Chief Minister has now adopted a tough stance regarding the long pending road projects in Jharkhand. Coming into ‘action mode’, the CM has given clear instructions to all the concerned departments to strengthen the infrastructure of the state and provide pothole-free roads to the general public. The Chief Minister has made it clear that delay in the projects will no longer be tolerated and all the incomplete works will be taken up in the next phase. two month deadline Must be completed within. After this instruction, there has been a stir among the construction agencies and departmental officials.

Review of projects and CM’s blunt warning

The Chief Minister recently held a high-level review meeting, in which he expressed displeasure over the slow pace of ongoing road construction projects across the state. The CM said that despite repeated extensions of the deadline, if the work is not being completed, then it is straight administrative negligence. Giving an ultimatum of two months, he said that during this period the works will be monitored by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) itself. If any delay in work or compromise in quality is found at any stage, strict legal and departmental action will be ensured against the concerned contractors and officials.

New formula for determining accountability

This time the CM has not only fixed the deadline but has also fixed the accountability. A nodal officer will be appointed for every road project, who will send weekly reports directly to the CMO. If the road work in any district is not completed on time, then the entire responsibility for it will be on the senior officials of the concerned department. The purpose of this new system is that the work should not be limited to files only and should be brought to the ground in a time bound manner.

General public will get the gift of better connectivity

There were complaints for a long time regarding the poor condition of roads in Jharkhand, which was affecting business and traffic. This step of the CM is expected to bring major improvement in the connectivity of rural and urban areas of the state. After this deadline of two months, there is a possibility of change in the picture of major roads of the state, which will directly benefit the people of the state. Seeing this strict stance of the CM, now the construction agencies have also increased the pace of work, due to which traveling on the roads of Jharkhand is going to be easy and safe in the coming time.
