Bhadohi, 4 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday gave a big gift to the youth of Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi in the field of higher education and said that now the youth here will be recognized for their district and their university on their degree. Referring to the recognition of the PG College of the district as Kashi Naresh University, the Chief Minister said that the years-old demand of the youth of Bhadohi has been fulfilled. The process of linking the colleges of the district with the university has progressed. Now the name of Kashi Naresh University, Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi will be on the degrees awarded to the youth here. Linking this to not only the establishment of a university but also the establishment of the district’s own educational identity, the Chief Minister said that the government will also provide the best facilities in this institution.

The Chief Minister was addressing the program organized on the occasion of inauguration and foundation stone laying of 112 development projects worth more than ₹ 1,340 crore in Bhadohi, Aurai and Gyanpur assembly constituencies. During this, he also distributed cheques, keys and appointment letters to the beneficiaries of various government schemes. During this, the Chief Minister clearly said that today this money is being spent for the development of these pilgrimages, the work of preserving and beautifying the heritage and heritage of our ancestors is being done. Before 2017, these pilgrims did not get this money. This money became the medium to acquire land in the name of boundary wall of the cemetery. The double engine government stopped that tendency of occupation, worked towards the development of pilgrimages and respect for faith while preserving the heritage. By curbing corruption and making Uttar Pradesh mafia-free, curfew-free, nuisance-free Uttar Pradesh, now Uttar Pradesh is full of festivals.

Modern facilities will be developed in the university

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath linked the gift of the university to the years-old aspiration of Bhadohi and said that his government has again taken forward the projects pending for years in the state. In this sequence, the people of Bhadohi were demanding a university in their district for a long time. Maa Vindhyavasini University had already been established in Mirzapur, but the public representatives of Bhadohi met them and expressed the need for a separate university for the district. The Chief Minister said that when he came to Bhadohi last time, he had promised to build a university here. Today he is happy to inform that the PG College here has been recognized as Kashi Naresh University. The Chief Minister said that now the degree awarded to the youth of Bhadohi will be in the name of the university of their own district. He said that our district is identified by its universities and its institutions. The government will not limit Kashi Naresh University to name only, but excellent facilities will be developed here. The Chief Minister indicated that the further outline for the development of the university is also ready. He said that he would come to Bhadohi separately for the university. Then the university will be formally inaugurated, its logo, anthem and theme song will be taken forward and the foundation stone for the construction of the new building will also be laid.

After university, Bhadohi is also moving towards medical college.

The Chief Minister assured Bhadohi to move forward in the direction of health education along with higher education. He said that now the identity of the state is not ‘One District One Mafia’ but ‘One District One Medical College’. Kashi Naresh University has been built in Bhadohi and in the coming time, the work of a medical college is also progressing here. He said that all the development works are being completed one by one. Along with development, respect for heritage and benefits of poor welfare schemes are being extended to the poor, youth, women, artisans and laborers without any discrimination. The Chief Minister also linked the changing identity of Bhadohi to its world famous carpet industry. He said that Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi has already been known for carpet industry, but now with the rapid development it is moving forward with a new identity. Referring to the Golden Jubilee event of India Carpet Expo, the Chief Minister said that about 250 exhibitors and 450 foreign buyers had come. Of these, 106 buyers are from BRICS countries and a total of 65 buyers are giving global recognition to the skills of Bhadohi artisans. The government is providing technology, trade and export facilities to the artisans and taking their products to the world market through events like Carpet Expo.

Sant Ravidas Nagar will also be connected to Vindhya Expressway

Describing the geographical location of Bhadohi as a big possibility for development, the Chief Minister said that on one side is the holy city of Baba Vishwanath Varanasi and on the other side is the confluence city Prayagraj and Sant Ravidas Nagar is situated between the two. There is heritage here as well as development at the pace of double engine government. He told that when it came to taking forward the expansion of Ganga Expressway as Vindhya Expressway, he gave instructions to connect Sant Ravidas Nagar also with it. The Chief Minister said that development cannot be one-sided, development takes everyone along and the government is working with this spirit. The Chief Minister also linked the identity of Bhadohi to the legacy of Sadhguru Sant Ravidas. He said that on the occasion of Guru Purnima itself, it was said that Bhadohi, famous for the carpet industry, will also be known by the name of Sadhguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, who gave the message of uniting the society, in the times to come. Referring to Sant Ravidas’s message of an egalitarian society, the Chief Minister said that about 600 years ago he had wished for such a rule where everyone would get food and everyone would get facilities without any discrimination. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, more than 80 crore people of the country are getting free ration. In such a situation, it is relevant to identify the district as Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi and carry forward his legacy.

Centers of faith are flourishing from Sitamarhi to Semradhanath Dham.

The Chief Minister said that Sant Ravidas Kutiya located in Aurai tehsil is still the center of faith of the devotees. Work has been done to connect Sitamarhi, the place where Sita resides, with the Ramayana Circuit. Beautification of Baba Semradhanath Dham temple complex and development of Ganga Ghat has been done. He said that during the time of Samajwadi Party, be it youth or artisans, farmers or women, these were not part of their agenda. Part of their agenda was only family, appeasement, anarchy, rioters, miscreants, they glorified these and they had nothing except kneeling and rubbing their nose in front of the mafia.
