Jamshedpur, August 21 (HS). The NDRF team from Ranchi could not find the missing aircraft of Alchemist Aviation after taking off from Jamshedpur's Sonari Airport even after a lot of efforts. Now the Indian Navy will help in finding the missing aircraft. A team of 15 people will reach Ranchi tonight from Vishakhapatnam by a special plane, with four hydrosealers machines and other necessary equipment. From Ranchi, this team will then leave for Chandil. The entire Navy team will start searching for the aircraft in Chandil Dam from Thursday morning.
The NDRF team entered Chandil Dam at around 10:30 am on Wednesday. Even after a lot of searching, it could not find the missing training aircraft of Alchemist Aviation. When the team could not find anything, the team came out of the dam at around 1:30 pm. After that, the NDRF team again entered the dam at around 2:30 pm. This time too, the team could not find anything and at around 5:15 pm, the team came out of the dam.
The NDRF team reached Chandil Dam at 9:30 am on Wednesday morning. About an hour later, the 18-member NDRF team started looking for the plane. SDO Shubhra Rani, SDPO Sunil Kumar Rajwar, BDO Taleeshwar Ravidas etc. were present with the NDRF team.
It is noteworthy that about 20 minutes after taking off from Sonari at around 11:30 am on Tuesday, the plane lost contact with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) of Sonari Airport. After this, ATC continuously tried to contact them but could not get in touch, after which the search for the missing plane is continuing.
