Varanasi, 07 October (Hindustan Reporter). Physiotherapy OPD has started in the urban community health center of the district, Sarnath. Here patients are being treated with modern electrotherapy machines. The system run by the Society of Community Health Oriented Operational Links organization was recently inaugurated by the state Governor Anandiben Patel. During this time the Governor had flagged off the ambulance.
Patients above 60 years of age will be brought in this ambulance. On Monday, Superintendent Community Health Center Dr. Abhimanyu Singh said that all the electrotherapy machines and ambulances in the health center have been provided by SBI. Only elderly people above 60 years of age are treated here. Ambulance service is also available to transport patients in the age group of 60 years. He said that efforts are being made to provide relief to the patients with the help of state-of-the-art machines. He informed that physiotherapist Dr. Devanshu Rai has been deployed to serve the patients. All electrotherapy machines are equipped with state-of-the-art and latest technologies. Arthritis, neck pain, back pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, nerve compression, acute and chronic joint problems are treated here. Apart from this, physiotherapists also teach different types of exercises for muscles to the patients.
