Threats to bomb planes: Threats to bomb planes are not stopping. Now 85 planes are in danger. This includes 20 aircraft of Air India. The planes that have been threatened include 20 flights of IndiGo, 20 of Aria and 25 of Akasa Air.
According to the news agency, before this, Delhi Police has registered eight separate complaints regarding bomb threats in more than 90 domestic and international flights in the last eight days. The flights which are under threat include the services of Akasa, Air India, Indigo and Vistara. These flights are operated from Delhi for various domestic and international services. According to the police, investigation is going on in this matter.
According to a senior police officer, threatening messages were found on X following which the officers dismissed him. The first case was related to the targeting of Akasa's Bengaluru flight on 16 October. The complaint was filed after a bomb threat was received through SMS. There were more than 180 passengers on board this plane. The plane had to return back to Delhi. In the coming days, police wrote to social media platform X asking for details of the accounts that posted threatening messages.
