Ranchi, May 16 (HS). The summer vacation in government schools of the state has been increased by five days. Now there will be summer vacation till June 7. Its order was issued by Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training Director Aditya Ranjan on Thursday.
In the order issued, it has been said that from the departmental level, the leave table – 2024 was published on February 27 for all categories of government schools of Jharkhand. According to this, winter vacation was scheduled from January 1 to January 5 and summer vacation from May 21 to June 2.
It is known from the representations received from the districts that the said winter vacation has not been utilized at the school level. It is mentioned in the note of the holiday table that if the holiday given in the holiday table has not been availed of before the publication of the holiday table, then it can be adjusted with other holidays. In case the said leave is not utilized by the school level, five days leave is adjusted with the summer vacation with the condition that this leave is not utilized by the school.
