Char Dham Yatra 2024: The Uttarakhand government has banned making reels or videography within 50 meters of Char Dham temples. Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand state Radha Raturi has issued an order in this regard. He has said that from now on, the administration will file a case against those who are spreading false propaganda and openly issuing instructions or rumors regarding the Chardham Yatra. The Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand has directed the officials to implement it strictly.

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has ordered Tourism Secretary, Garhwal Divisional Commissioner, SP and District Magistrate not to do videography, social media reels etc. within 50 meters of the temples. This causes trouble to the pilgrims of faith and their sentiments can also be hurt.

A large number of devotees are coming for the Chardham Yatra, in such a situation, some people are seen creating trouble for the other pilgrims by making reels or videography etc. in the temple premises. Keeping this in mind, the Uttarakhand government has taken this decision.
