Hisar, August 14 (HS). Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced the inclusion of Agroha in the Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority to speed up the development of Agroha. Now Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority will be known as Hisar-Agroha Metropolitan Development Authority.
Chief Minister Naib Saini was addressing a program organized by All India Agrawal Sammelan in Agroha of the district on Wednesday. He said that to tell the glory of Agroha Dham to the people and to spread the message of equality, affection, cooperation, democracy, harmony, brotherhood, non-violence and love of Maharaja Agrasen, the yatra that started from Chandigarh on August 3 has reached here today after passing through the state. It is a matter of pride that Maharaja Agrasen had made this holy land of Agroha his capital. Not only the Agrawal community spread across the world, but the faith and sentiments of all sections of the society are associated with this great Shakti Peeth. He said that we have also named the airport being built in Hisar after Maharaja Agrasen. With the construction of this airport, Haryana has got a distinct identity on the world's air map.
Addressing the program, Cabinet Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta said that a big airport is being built on 7200 acres of land in the name of Maharaja Agrasen in Hisar. This is a matter of pride for all of us. The airport will get the license within the next 7 to 10 days and after this, the first flight to Ayodhya will take off from this airport within 10 days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been invited to inaugurate the airport, it is expected that the airport will be inaugurated this month.
Transport Minister Aseem Goyal announced that bus service will be started from every district headquarters of the state to Agroha so that people get an opportunity to visit this holy place. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs 21 lakh from his discretionary fund to the Agroha Shaktipeeth pilgrimage site and Cabinet Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta and State Minister Aseem Goyal Nannyaula also announced Rs 11 lakh each.
On this occasion, former minister and chairperson of Agroha Medical College Savitri Jindal, Panchkula Municipal Corporation Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal, Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya, Superintendent of Police Deepak Saharan, BJP District President Ashok Saini, Ramsharan Garg, Gautam Sardana, Gopal Garg, CP Goyal, Anil Saini Mani along with eminent personalities of Agrawal community and senior officers of the district administration were present.
