In India, one has to apply for a driving license at the RTO office. Any Indian citizen above the age of 18 years can apply for it.
New rules are going to be implemented in India from June 1. Under which any person can get a driving license without going to the RTO office and giving a driving test.
But this is possible only if you have taken driving training from a recognized driving school. For this, you must take training for a specified number of days.
In this, you have been given 29 hours in 29 days for light vehicles. So for heavy vehicles you need at least 38 hours in 38 days. In which 8 hours of theory class is mandatory.
