Now Global Engineering College student accused of rape and pressure for religious conversion

Jabalpur, 9 November (HS). The case of rape of a student of Shriram Engineering College in Jabalpur has not yet cooled down as a similar case has come to light in another college, Global Engineering. In which a young man named Fardeen has been accused of pressurizing the girl for religious conversion after rape. The girl alleges that Fardeen lured her into love trap and raped her several times and then also tried to forcibly convert her to religion. This student of Global Engineering College had met the accused Fardeen during her school days. After which their acquaintance deepened. The victim has alleged that Fardeen, taking advantage of this acquaintance, gradually lured her into his love trap and emotionally controlled her. Taking advantage of this, Fardeen had relations with her several times.

After completing school, the girl took admission in Global College and the accused started studying in Shri Ram College, but when Fardeen pressurized the girl to convert, the victim complained about the matter to the police. Madhotal police station in-charge Vipin Tamrakar said that the girl alleged in her complaint that Fardeen pressurized her to convert and mentally tortured her for it. The girl told that she was under constant pressure from Fardeen, but she gathered courage and told her family about this. After reaching Madhotal police station with her family, the girl lodged a complaint against Fardeen. Fardeen has been arrested and all the facts in this case are being thoroughly investigated. Even before this, a case of rape of a Hindu student by a Muslim youth had come to light, due to which there were protests at the local level. There is anger in many organizations of the state due to this incident.
