Cyclonic disturbance in Arabian Sea also?
According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circle will start accumulating in the North Andaman Sea around October 20. Gradually it will move towards Odisha coast. It is also possible that amid all this a similar situation may arise in the Arabian Sea. Cyclonic disturbance may also occur there. The time limit is also likely to be around this.
The Meteorological Department has advised to avoid any activity in both the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea during this period due to changing weather conditions. The Navy has also been asked to stop its operations. Because whether a storm comes or not, very high waves can arise in the sea.
Along with this, tourists have been advised to stay in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Local people have been asked to remain alert. The state meteorological department has predicted rain in Gujarat for the next 7 days. There may be light to heavy rain in the state. Heavy rain expected in some districts on 19th and 20th October. Rainfall is expected in the state due to convective activity. Rain is expected due to increase in humidity and heat in the air. Heavy rain is expected in Tapi and Dang on October 19. Heavy rain is expected in Amreli, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli on October 20. Heavy rain is expected in Amreli on 21st October.
