Now Bihar’s railways will catch up! 4 tracks will be laid on Bhagalpur-Barharwa route, say goodbye to train late

There is a big good news for train travelers, especially those who travel on the Bhagalpur-Barharwa route of Bihar. Soon, waiting for trains on this route for hours and getting stuck behind goods trains will become a thing of the past. Indian Railways has prepared a huge plan to change the picture of this area.

What is this big plan?

Eastern Railway has prepared a huge proposal to lay two new railway lines (third and fourth) between Barharwa and Bhagalpur. Approximately Rs 4,880 crore will be spent on this 256 km long project. With the construction of these new tracks, the capacity of this route will increase manifold, which will directly benefit both common passengers and businessmen.

Now trains will not be late, will speed up like rockets

Imagine, you are standing at the station and your train has been stopped because there is a goods train coming in front or the line is not empty. This scenario is going to change soon. When there are four tracks, there will be no need to wait for trains to pass. If one line is not vacant, the train can be immediately taken out from the second or third line.

Not only this, Railways is also preparing to run semi-high speed trains like Vande Bharat, Vande Metro and Amrit Bharat on this route. For this, fencing is also being done along the old tracks, so that no animal or human being can suddenly come on the track and the trains can run at their full speed.

How will traders and farmers get the benefit?

This project will prove to be a boon not only for the travelers but also for Kosi-Seemanchal, North Bihar and North-Eastern states. Currently, due to the fear of train delays, traders keep their goods, such as grains or coal, in warehouses or cold storage instead of sending them directly. This additional expense falls on their pockets.

After construction of new lines, the goods can be loaded directly and dispatched immediately. This will save time, there will be no fear of goods getting damaged and warehouse rent will also be saved. This will give wings to business in the entire region and will give a new impetus to economic development.

Work also started on Jamalpur-Bhagalpur route

Along with this big project, the work of building a 53 km long third railway line between Bhagalpur and Jamalpur has also been approved. Rs 1156 crore will be spent on this and the target is to complete it in three years. At present land acquisition work is going on for this.

Railways believes that all these projects will not only make the journey easier, but the Railways will also get financial and commercial benefits worth crores. Overall, this scheme is going to breathe a new life into the railway lines passing through the heart of Bihar, which will have an impact on everyone’s life.
