US reaction to India-Canada diplomatic tension: Now America has also jumped into the dispute between India and Canada. Canada has once again accused Indian officials of involvement in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Along with this, he has recalled six diplomats including the High Commissioner of India. After these allegations, diplomatic tension has increased between Canada and India. Canada said on Tuesday that it has informed the 'Five Eyes' (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and US). Now America has described Canada's allegations as very serious and has requested India to cooperate in the investigation.

Canada's allegations very serious: America

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, 'We have made it clear that Canada's allegations are extremely serious and need to be taken seriously. We want the Indian government to cooperate with Canada and its investigation. But India chose an alternative path.

Even before this, America had adopted India's stance

This is not the first time that the US has commented on the tension between India and Canada. Last year, when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India in Parliament of being involved in the murder of Niger, the US had expressed concern over India's reaction. At that time India had asked 41 Canadian diplomats to return. Even then Matthew Miller had said that America believes that India should cooperate with Canada in the investigation.

India recalls Indian ambassador from Canada

After the alleged killing of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been spewing venom against India from time to time. The Trudeau government has taken another major decision after India recalled the Indian Ambassador to Canada after Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma was accused of using 'personal interest' in the Niger case.

The central government has expelled six diplomats including the Canadian High Commissioner. India has ordered him to leave the country by 19 October. Before this, the Central Government has immediately recalled Sanjay Kumar Verma from there to India. The Indian government has decided to recall the High Commissioner and other targeted diplomats and officials from Canada.

What is the whole matter?

The case is related to the murder of Khalistan supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Although Nijjar is a citizen of Canada, India has declared him a terrorist. On June 18 last year, he was shot dead near a Gurudwara in Surrey, British Columbia.

On September 18 last year, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau had alleged the involvement of Indian agents in Nijjar's murder. However, India has rejected Canada's claim as baseless. On Monday, Canada directly detained Indian diplomats. Later, Trudeau also accused India in a press conference.

However, the Indian Foreign Ministry denied this and made it clear that Trudeau was doing this for vote bank politics. After these allegations by Canada, India has recalled its High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma back to India. India has made it clear that we no longer trust the current government of Canada.
