Threat to bomb Tirupati ISKCON temple: The ISKCON temple of Tirupati has received a bomb threat. This threat was received through email on Sunday (October 27, 2024). The temple administration has lodged a complaint with the police. The complaint states that the sender of the email threatened that ISIS terrorists would blow up the temple.
On receiving the information, Tirupati police immediately took action and searched the temple. The local police has also called the bomb disposal squad and dog squad to check the explosives. However, no explosives or other objectionable items were recovered from the temple premises.
Received fourth threat in three days
Circle Inspector Srinivasulu says that necessary efforts are being made to identify those who made the threats. Police suspect that this is a fake mail. This is the fourth fake mail that Tirupati temple has received in the last three days. An earlier email also contained a threat to bomb the temple.
There was information about a bomb on Saturday also
Earlier on Saturday also, two hotels were threatened with bomb blasts, which later turned out to be fake. Even before this incident, there were bomb blasts in three other hotels in the city. People are scared due to continuous threats.

The latest threat sent to the temple administration mentions alleged drug trafficking network leader Zafar Sadiq, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and the Enforcement Directorate in Tamil Nadu.
