Now a six-lane ROB will be built near Palla, the route to Greno-Dadri will be smooth | News India

Greater Noida, September 14 (HS). To connect the Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH) and to make travel between Dadri and Greater Noida easier, the ROB (Railway Over Bridge) under construction at the railway crossing near Palla will now be made of six lanes. It was being made of four lanes. On the initiative of IITGNL, approval has been received to add two more lanes. IIITGNL will bear the cost of these two lanes.

In fact, a multimodal transport hub is being developed near Bodaki by IIITGNL (Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited). It is on both sides of Bodaki railway station. Three important projects in MMTH, Bodaki halt will be developed as Greater Noida railway terminal. Along with this, there will be inter-state and local bus stand and metro connectivity facility. More than 50 trains going towards east will run from Greater Noida terminal, which will be very convenient for the passengers going towards eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal etc. They will not need to go to Delhi, New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway station.

Similarly, with the construction of inter-state and local bus stands, it will become easier for those working in industries to go to their homes. Local buses will also be available from here. Apart from this, there will also be metro connectivity from Depot Station to Multimodal Transport Hub, connecting Noida-Greater Noida. The paperwork for these projects is in its final stage. There are plans to start the construction of all these projects in the next six months. Meanwhile, a four-lane overbridge is being built by the railway to cross the railway line near Palla. IITGNL tried to make this overbridge a six-lane one.

Managing Director of IITGNL and CEO of Greater Noida Authority NG Ravi Kumar made continuous efforts for this with the Uttar Pradesh government and the Government of India. Now it has yielded results. Approval has been received to make this overbridge a six-lane bridge. The total cost of this bridge is about Rs 194 crore, out of which about Rs 75 crore is being borne by Greater Noida and the remaining amount is being borne by DFCC. Work on this has already started. Its construction is expected to be completed in the next one and a half years.

There will be many important benefits from the construction of the bridge

There will be many benefits of the construction of this bridge. Firstly, it will become easier for people coming from western areas like Greater Noida, Noida, Delhi etc. to reach Greater Noida Railway Terminal. Apart from this, 105 meter road of Greater Noida is also being connected to NH-91, which will make movement between Dadri and Greater Noida Phase 2 areas to MMTH easier. The construction of a 60 meter wide road to connect 105 meter road to NH-91 is going to start soon. Its tender process is being completed. Work is already underway on the plan to settle Greater Noida Phase 2 on this side.

CEO of Greater Noida Authority and Managing Director of IITGNL NG Ravi Kumar says that the railway overbridge under construction near Palla-Bodaki will not only benefit MMTH, but will also provide great convenience to thousands of people who travel between Greater Noida and Dadri daily. Greater Noida Phase 2 is also to be developed on this side, this bridge will prove to be a milestone for that too.
