Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, USA. He was the President of America for only two years, 10 months and two days. He is considered one of America’s most popular presidents. Became the President of the country at the age of just 43. The man who shot Kennedy was former Marine Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was arrested by the police. Two days later, Oswald was assassinated by a Kennedy supporter. This incident created a stir in the entire world including America.

Born on May 29, 1917, in Brooklyn, USA, Kennedy was the second of his parents’ nine children. His father was one of America’s most successful people. His business extended from film industry to stock market, from shipbuilding to banking. In 1938, when Kennedy’s father went to Britain as the US Ambassador, 21-year-old Kennedy went there as his secretary.

After completing his studies from Harvard University, he joined the Navy in 1941. The second world war was going on at that time. His elder brother died during the war. Kennedy himself almost died during the war. After leaving the Navy in 1945, he entered politics. After the death of his elder brother, the family’s political legacy came into Kennedy’s hands. Kennedy, who won his first election in 1946, never lost an election in his life.
