Nawada, July 13 (HS). Nawada police arrested an accused in the robbery case on Saturday. The arrested accused is Jackie Manjhi, a resident of Mirzapur in Nawada Nagar police station area.
Recently, a parcel delivery worker had complained in the city police station that on March 25, while he was delivering a parcel in Mirzapur, two unknown persons assaulted him and robbed him of about 15 thousand rupees.
In this regard, a case was registered in the city police station and a team was formed on the instructions of the SP. The team investigated the matter and arrested an accused after identifying him on the basis of CCTV footage.
During police interrogation, the accused has accepted his involvement in the robbery. Police said that raids are going on to arrest the remaining accused and they will also be arrested soon. The arrested criminal has committed many robberies before this as well.
