Raipur/Jashpurnagar 11 September (HS). The notification to convert Nagar Panchayat Pathalgaon into a Municipality has been published in the Chhattisgarh Gazette. With this, the process of making Pathalgaon a Municipality has started. It is known that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had announced to convert Pathalgaon from Nagar Panchayat to Municipality on 14 August 2024, the death anniversary of former Union Minister Late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev, organized in village Kilkila.
Under the notification issued, claims and objections have been sought for 21 days. According to this notification, the boundaries of Nagar Panchayat Pathalgaon will be the boundaries of the Municipality. There is an atmosphere of excitement in Pathalgaon as soon as the information of the notification was received. People have thanked Chief Minister Shri Sai for implementing his announcement.
