Ranchi, 22 October (Hindustan Reporter). Voting is to be held in two phases for 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. The first phase will be held on 13th November and the second phase on 20th November while the election results will be declared on 23rd November. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Varun Ranjan on Tuesday issued a notification regarding elections in two assembly constituencies (Silli and Khijri) in the district in the second phase.
The Deputy Commissioner told a press conference at the Collectorate on Tuesday that October 29 will be the last date for the second phase of nominations while scrutiny of nominations will be done on October 30. Also, November 1 will be the last day for candidates to withdraw their nominations.
Electoral officers of assembly constituencies
Silli assembly constituency
Silli Electoral Cell will be located in the office of the Additional Collector in the Collectorate, Room No. 303 Block-A. Its electoral officer will be Ramnarayan Singh, Additional Collector. There are a total of 279 polling stations in Silli Assembly, out of which two polling stations (polling stations number 25 and 26) will have voting from 7 am to 4 pm, while the remaining 277 polling stations will have voting from 7 am to 5 pm.
Khijri assembly constituency
Khijri Constituency Additional Collector (Naxal) Collectorate Room No. 212 Block-A. It will be located in Ranchi, whose electoral officer will be Surdashan Murmu. There are a total of 413 polling stations in Khijri Assembly, in which voting will be held from 7 am to 4 pm in two polling stations (polling station number 204 and 205) while in the remaining 411 polling stations, voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm.
