Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep looked like the top-order batsmen on the fourth day of the Gabba Test. These two batsmen saved the Indian team from follow-on by making a partnership of 47 runs. Earlier, the Indian team was all out for 260 runs in the first innings. Akash Deep (31) and Jasprit Bumrah (10) batted brilliantly for the Indian team.
A huge six spoiled the party
India needed 246 runs to avoid follow-on, Akash Deep saved India from follow-on by hitting a four. The special thing is that Akash Deep played an inning of 31 runs with the bat of Virat Kohli. This bat was gifted by Virat Kohli to Akash Deep during the Test series against Bangladesh. However, at one time Team India had lost 9 wickets for 213 runs. But Bumrah and Akash Deep saved the team.
