Michael Clarke: The first Test match of the 5 Test match series between India and Australia will be played in Perth on 22 November. The Indian team had to face defeat against New Zealand in the last Test series. To reach the final of the World Test Championship, the Indian team will have to win this series against Australia at any cost. The Indian team will have to win at least 4 test matches in the 5 test match series.

Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant will have to score a lot of runs

Meanwhile, former Australian captain Michael Clarke has given a statement regarding the Indian team. Clarke has given the formula for India to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In an interview, Clarke said, ‘If the Indian team has to win the series, then Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant will have to score a lot of runs.’

Kohli’s excellent record in Australia

The former Australian captain said, ‘Virat Kohli’s record in Australia is excellent. I think their record here is better than India. He has scored 6 centuries in 13 Test matches in Australia. If India has to win this series, then Virat Kohli will have to score the most runs and Rishabh Pant will also have to perform brilliantly. These two players are most important for India.

There are a lot of expectations from Kohli in this test match. Kohli has played two Tests in Perth so far. In which he scored 44 and 75 runs in two innings in January 2012. In which Australia won by an innings and 37 runs. Kohli played his second Test as captain in 2018 in Perth. In which he became the first batsman to score a century.

Earlier, Pant had a memorable innings on the Australia tour.

Earlier, Rishabh Pant played one of the most memorable innings in Test cricket history at the Gabba during the fourth and final Test of India’s tour of Australia in January 2021. While chasing the target of 328 runs on the fifth day, Pant scored unbeaten 89 runs on 138 balls. Due to which India got a big victory. This is the ground where Australia has not lost a test match for 32 years.
