‘Not in the Assembly, MK Stalin gives a befitting reply to CM Vijay’s ‘Where is Papa,’ jibe

The war of words between the ruling party and the opposition is at its peak in Tamil Nadu politics. The ongoing tussle between Chief Minister Vijay and former Chief Minister MK Stalin within the State Assembly is now visible on public platforms as well. Recently, during the discussion on the Governor’s address, MK Stalin has responded to the taunt made by CM Vijay on Udhayanidhi Stalin in a very impressive manner, which is now in the headlines on social media.

When CM Vijay targeted the House with ‘Kutti Story’

The atmosphere in the Tamil Nadu Assembly became heated when Chief Minister Vijay raised the issue of former Chief Minister MK Stalin’s absence. In his familiar ‘Kutti Story’ style, he taunted looking at Udhayanidhi Stalin – “Where is your father? We are not able to see him.” During this, he also copied a special body language associated with MK Stalin, the video of which went viral within no time. This gesture is being sharply criticized in political circles.

Stalin’s counterattack: ‘I live in the hearts of the people’

Addressing a public meeting in Thiruvarur, MK Stalin directly targeted CM Vijay. He said that his influence is not measured by the chairs of the House or his physical presence, but by his work. Stalin said, “It does not matter whether I come to the Assembly or not. I am always present in the hearts and minds of the people of the state.” He challenged CM Vijay and said that if he really wants to find Stalin, then he should look at the files of the State Secretariat which contain records of public welfare schemes like ‘Kalagnar Adhikar Eligibility Scheme’.

Political temperature is rising in the assembly

The atmosphere in the Tamil Nadu Assembly has remained extremely tense since Tuesday. CM Vijay has made serious allegations against DMK of misuse of ‘party funds’, after which a heated debate broke out in the House. In protest, DMK MLAs even staged a walkout. This tussle between the ruling party and the opposition is not just limited to words, but is now deepening on the issue of law and order and political stability of the state. This counterattack by Stalin by referring to the files and the hearts of the public has made it clear that DMK is ready to corner CM Vijay’s government on every front.
