Seoul: North Korea has declared South Korea an 'enemy country' for the first time by amending its constitution. North Korea's parliament met for two days last week to make changes to the constitution. In January, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had demanded to declare South Korea as the country's main enemy.
The roads connecting the two countries were demolished
According to news agency Reuters, North Korea destroyed roads and rail links that are no longer in use that once connected North Korea with South Korea. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said cutting the road connecting the two countries clearly defines South Korea as an enemy country.
South Korea's military on Tuesday released video footage of North Korean soldiers detonating explosives on roads and rail lines linking the two countries.
Dictator Kim threatened war
It is noteworthy that in January this year, Kim Jong Un had demanded constitutional changes in his speech. Kim Jong Un has said that if South Korea encircles even 0.001 mm of our land, air and water area, there will be war.
