Non-veg eaters will also like Jackfruit Korma, try it once!

Have you ever tasted jackfruit korma? This is a vegetable which is liked even by non-veg people. You can easily make it at home. Today we are going to tell you about its recipe.

Material

Boiled jackfruit – 1/2 kg

Finely chopped onion – 2

Tomato paste – 4 tbsp

Ginger-garlic paste – 2 teaspoons

Butter – 2 spoons

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon

Kasuri Methi – 2 spoons

Bay leaves – 2

Cumin – 1 teaspoon

salt as per taste

Sugar – 1 teaspoon

-Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it.

– When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds to it. When it starts crackling, add chopped onion and bay leaf and fry until the onion turns light brown.

– Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry for about five minutes.

– Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.

– Add tomato paste to the mixture and cook until the spices mix well.

-When the gravy starts releasing oil, it is a sign that the masala has been cooked well.

– Now add butter to it and fry for 2-3 minutes. – Then add Kasoori Methi, salt and sugar and mix well.

– Add boiled jackfruit in this gravy and mix well with the spices.

– Add about one and a half cups of water, cover the pan and let it cook on high flame for about five minutes.

-After five minutes, open the lid and check whether the jackfruit korma is cooked well or not.

-After cooking, turn off the flame. Your jackfruit korma is ready. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
