Non-bailable warrant issued against 205 brick manufacturers of the district

East Champaran, 04 August (HS). The district administration has issued non-bailable warrants against 205 brick manufacturers who have been withholding government funds for years. This big action by the administration has created panic among the chimney operators and brick manufacturers.

District Auction Letter Officer Yashwant and Senior Officer of Auction Letter cum Additional Collector Disaster Management Officer Rajeshwari Pandey said that if the defaulter chimney operators want to avoid arrest, they should contact the District Mining Office and immediately deposit the outstanding amount in the bank through challan and ensure that the receipt of the deposited amount is made available in the District Auction Letter Office so that the case proceedings can be terminated according to rules and the chimney operators can be freed from liability.
