So how will this dream city be and what impact will it have on your and our lives? Let us know.
How big and luxurious will ‘New Noida’ be?
This will not be a small township, but a complete metropolis to be built on a vast land of 20,911 hectares. The total expenditure on this project is estimated to be approximately Rs 50,000 crore Which gives an idea of its vastness. It will be settled near the expressway and GT Road so that there is no problem in connectivity.
How and when will this city be settled?
The work of settling this entire city will be done in four phases, which is targeted to be completed under ‘Master Plan 2041’.
- Phase 1 (by 2027): The work has started. In the first phase, development work will start on 3,165 hectares of land in 15 villages. Rs 8,500 crore will be spent on its initial infrastructure alone. Noida Authority has also set aside a budget of Rs 1,000 crore for this.

This new city will be located on the land of several villages, including villages like Jokhabad and Sanwali. The government says that no farmer’s land will be taken by force. By holding meetings in every village, mutual consent and appropriate compensation rate will be decided. To solve every problem of the farmers, temporary offices have also been opened in the villages.
Not only houses, there will be a big center of employment too
The new Noida will not just be a place to live, but it will also become a huge hub of industrial investment.
- 8,000 hectares only for industry: A large part of the city (about 8000 hectares) will be reserved for industrial activities, where big companies from India and abroad will be called for investment.
- Employing 1 lakh people: It is estimated that the establishment of this city will provide direct employment to about 1 lakh people.
- New home for 6 lakh people: The target is to settle about 6 lakh people here, out of which it is believed that 3.5 lakh people will come from other cities and settle here.
This city will not only become a center of industry and housing, but will also become a hub of excellent education, health and all kinds of modern facilities. This project will give a new boost to the economy of Uttar Pradesh in the coming decades.
