'No third country should be harmed', China angry over India handing over BrahMos missile to Philippines

China's reaction to India's BrahMos missile deal: China has agreed after India gave the supersonic cruise missile BrahMos to the Philippines.

India has sent the missiles on time when there is a dispute going on between the Philippines and China over the ownership of an island in the South China Sea. To which the Chinese army has reacted.

Chinese Army spokesperson Wu Qian has said, 'In security cooperation between India and the Philippines, both countries should take care that the interests of any third country are not harmed. China has always believed in the principle that defense cooperation between the two countries will not harm any third country and will not threaten regional peace. ,

At the same time, Qian has criticized America, saying, 'America has created a major threat to the security and peace of the region by deploying medium-range ballistic missiles in the Philippines.

The reason for China's embarrassment is that there is a dispute between China and the Philippines over the ownership of islands named Thomas Shoal and Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea. Philippines has signed a BrahMos missile deal with India, ignoring China's donation. India is also helping the Philippines which is competing with China. India and Philippines signed a deal for BrahMos in 2022. As part of which, India will provide three batteries of BrahMos missiles, training to operate them and operational support. The BrahMos missile given by India to the Philippines has a range of 290 kilometers and can hit its target at two to three times the speed of sound.
