Tehran: Israel bombed the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, destroying the entire embassy building and killing two Iranian generals who were participating in ongoing talks at the embassy. Actually, the discussion was going on about what kind of strategy the Islamic countries should adopt against Israel, when Israeli war planes bombed that building and the above incident happened.
Enraged by this, Iran openly threatened Israel and said that now not a single Israeli embassy will be safe.
General Rahim Safavi, military advisor to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamesi, has openly said, 'Not a single embassy of that evil regime (Israel) will be safe anymore.'
However, Israel has clearly denied the allegations that it had a direct hand in this attack.
Then there is no such force in the countries of the Middle East which can aim so accurately and cause such a huge devastation. Let us assume for a moment that Egypt, Saudi Arabia or Iran are capable of attacking such specific targets, but why should they attack the embassy of friendly country Iran. In short, the blame falls squarely on Israel. Now it remains to be seen what Iran does.
